CORONA, Calif. – On January 8, 2007, Soff-Cut, the
manufacturer of Ultra Early Entry™ concrete cutting products, announced its acquisition
of Superior Power Trowels. This strategic initiative will allow Soff-Cut with
its high-quality, dependable product offering to tap into the growth potential
of the concrete flatwork market. “For some time now, we have been quietly
on the acquisition trail looking for companies that fit with Soff-Cut and can
build on the brand and service reputation that’s been created. Superior
Power Trowel is an excellent fit and we couldn’t be more pleased,” said
Don Hinshaw, President and CEO of Soff-Cut.
Superior Power Trowels was originally founded in 1972 in the City of Industry,
California. The company relocated to Northern California in 1987 where they have
established an excellent reputation in the concrete industry. The company currently
offers several different models of walk-behind power trowels as well as a recently-introduced
ride-on trowel. Soff-Cut, an innovative leader in the concrete industry offers
a wide range of Ultra Early Entry™ Concrete cutting saws with patented blades
